WORK IN CANADA

Canada is a country of opportunity. Despite tough economic times in many parts of the world, Canada, and more specifically, the province of Alberta, is one of the few places where job opportunities are still abundant.

IRCC issues work permits to eligible, qualified foreign workers who wish to work temporarily in Canada. In some cases, trade, licensing or regulatory body approval may also be required. In many cases a foreign worker must have obtained a Labour Market Impact Assessment (LMIA) from their potential employer before applying for a work permit. In addition, in cases where a foreign worker is coming from a country that is not visa exempt they must also apply for a temporary resident visa.

Whether you just want to work temporarily or work towards gaining the experience necessary to apply for permanent residency, we can help you achieve your goals by assisting you in obtaining the documentation required to work in Canada. In addition, we can also help you or your family members obtain open work permits if you qualify.

Adult Students

STUDY IN CANADA

Canada is increasingly becoming a destination of choice for foreign students. Our colleges and universities are receiving more and more international students every year. Canada provides students with an education in a supportive academic environment where professors and teachers are approachable and where classrooms reflect the cultural diversity of Canada. Canada can provide students with an education that will provide them with qualifications that are recognized and respected all over the world.

Most international students would not only require a study permit and a temporary resident visa, they would also need to demonstrate that they are admissible to Canada and have sufficient funds or adequate means of support to finance their academic program.

At CCIC we can assist students in providing valuable guidance and representation throughout the entire application process for a study permit. As many international students may also become eligible to apply for permanent residence in Canada after some time, we can assess your situation, determine what kind of documentation you need, and help you apply for it.

visit CANADA

Canada is a beautiful country that is visited by millions of people every year. It is the world’s second largest country with dynamic cities that dominate global livability indices and a reputation for inclusiveness and impeccable politeness. In fact, Canada was ranked #1 on Lonely Planet’s top ten countries to visit list in 2017. There is plenty to see, whether you wish to come here as a tourist, visit friends and family or experience one of our many world class attractions.

Before planning to visit Canada you need to find out whether a temporary resident visa is required to enter or not. In addition, if you are currently a temporary resident in Canada with valid temporary residence status (i.e. Study Permit or Work Permit) you may need a temporary resident visa should you wish to leave and re-enter Canada.

CCIC can help you find out what is required to visit Canada as a tourist or as a business person and also help you extend your stay once you are here. We can also help parents and grandparents apply to visit their family here in Canada through the IRCC’s new super visa program which allows them to remain in the country for up to 2 years.
